Background: Like many I discovered mahjong through Anime around 2013 , teaching myself the game and playing on and off online for many years. Then after COVID in 2021 I started looking around to see if there were any local clubs that play Riichi, and luckily I found one. After this I started geting more serious about mahjong and got hooked on going to tournaments, playing in 50+ Riichi tournaments (local / EMA / WRL) over the years. After a year I've started doing tournament organisation for two clubs and joined the Dutch Mahjong Assocation board.
